I am in love with this book series! I love dragons and these days it is so hard to find a good book series with dragons in it! I especially like that is in the dragon's point of view! There is a problem with violence, but honestly, it's not as bad as some people make it out to be.

Sorry this isn't entirely about the book, I may have gotten a little carried away. I love this book, but parents, the choice is yours. Parents I'm not telling you how to raise your children, I'm just helping you to understand them, especially as they get older.

I know you want to protect your child, but what we all(kids) want is to be able to understand and be trusted. I'm not saying that this goes for everyone. I feel like we're underrated, we're 'to young', but what adults don't realize, is that a lot of us are more mature the we're thought to be. I feel like nobody knows me, and I'm sure other kids/teens feel the same way. This book does have blood and war, but it also shows us a glimpse of the real world. I have a friend who's 10 years old, and he is one of the most understanding and mature kids I've ever met, even more so than many teens. The reason I have the age as 11 is because at this age I think that kids should be able to understand. The youngest that I think should read this book is probably 8 or 9. So you heard that this is a violent book, and I'm not going to disagree.
